Where Has Ethical Culture Made a Difference?

November 8 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Curious about Ethical Culture? Discover the roots of our movement.
If you’ve attended a few Ethical Culture Society of Silicon Valley events, you might be asking: What is Ethical Culture really about? Where did it begin? And what real-world difference has it made?

Join us for a special in-person gathering featuring an exclusive 27-minute documentary on the origins and impact of Ethical Culture created by Louise Jett, Ethical Culture Leader at the St. Louis Society. This video isn’t available anywhere else online!

Did you know Ethical Culture leaders and members helped found the ACLU and the NAACP? Or that they played key roles in the settlement house movement, visiting nurse services, and the Encampment for Citizenship (which had Eleanor Roosevelt as a devoted supporter)?
As Louise Jett notes:

“Explore the roots of Ethical Culture: its founding by Felix Adler—who insisted on ‘Deed Before Creed’—and the movement’s early commitments to education, civil rights, and social reform.”
