Martin Luther King’s Riverside Church sermon “Beyond Vietnam”
April 4, 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King’s Riverside Church sermon “Beyond Vietnam.” Since war is still relevant today, we’ll review key points in the sermon using our vantage point of 50 years hence, during times of drone strikes and CIA operations. Find the text of the speech here.
This recurring event happens on the second Sunday of every month at Neutra House in Los Altos. There is no predetermined theme, just friendly, respectful conversation. RSVP if possible so we can arrange the tables. If you have a MeetUp account, you can click on the MeetUp icon at the upper right of this page. Otherwise, you can RSVP using our contact page. See you there!

Ethics Discussion: Immigrants and Their Needs
Immigrants live among us, whether documented or not. What are their needs as they become “at home” here, in their new home? What are some of the issues they deal with that impact society as a whole? What can we do to mitigate some of the problems and make the world a better place for all those who live among us? Molly leads the discussion
Soup is served at 6:30, discussion starts at 7:30. Please contact us for details and directions.
