Past Ethical Actions

  • Developed a Recycling Game that is now a part of the Sunday Friends program as an ongoing activity
  • Visited a Veterans Hospital to spend time with veterans socializing at an Ice Cream Social
  • Participated in a river clean-up of a local San Jose river, The Guadalupe River
  • Tree planting in the park by the ECSSV youth group
  • Toured a recycling plant to learn about recycling
  • Card and letter writing to at-large members
  • Created boxes for school supply collections, mass mailing parties for Sunday Friends
  • Learned about water conservation touring a drought resistant garden
  • Tabling as an exhibitor at the AAI Convention, 2009
  • Pumpkin decorating by the ECSSV Youth group with Sunday Friends

Current Ethical Actions

  • 150 Animals for 150 Kids Collection for Sunday Friends to celebrate the publication of Darwin’s Origin of Species, November 26, 1859 to November 26, 2009
  • Lending to the working poor through Kiva Microloans
  • Development of the Recycling Game for free distribution to educators
  • Collecting toiletries for distribution to the homeless through Innvision
